ABOUT DR. SAMMONS Dr. Sammons has been serving women and families in the Lake Saint Louis area since 2010. An active member of the medical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital since 2014, she served as chair of the OB/GYN department until 2017. Dr. Sammons currently serves as the chief-elect of the St. Joseph’s medical staff, after having served as secretary/treasurer from 2017-2018. Caring for women, helping them achieve their goals as mothers and as potent members of the workforce, is a critical part of Emily Sammons’ role in the community. She enjoys the continuity of the OB/GYN profession for the ability to be present at all stages of a woman’s life.
